Lavish Library: The Richest Man In Babylon

A few of you who know me personally are aware that I am a Director in my father's succesful export business, Caribbean Shipping & Consolidating Corp., a freight forwarding NVOCC operating out of Miami, FL. Our family proudly traveled to Jamaica this past weekend to celebrate his 20th anniversary with his largest clientele base in the Caribbean Jamaica's capital, Kingston. Though I've been to the capital a dozen times or more, a pride as tall as the blue mountain's peak swept over me as it was my first time visiting officially on business.

I opted to stay a few extra days after our company's event to reflect on life & contemplate the next steps in accomplishing my life's mission. I wanted to clear my mind of unconscious clutter & lay in a bit of stillness to remember what's important while planning diligently for the present to come.

Coming across "The Richest Man In Babylon" by George Samuel Clason seemed nothing short of good fate & Godspeed. I experienced this book's treasure of tales in under two days sitting the heat of a dry Jamaican summer, belly filled with treats from Devon House & plenty home cooked meals.

Using the flavourful language of the olden days, the writer illustrates the simply disciplined road to success by the principles of proper budgeting, saving, paying debts, investing, the 5 rules of gold & the glory that unwavering determination leads to. A must read for any persons who deem victory in their lives INEVITABLE!
