Griot's Gallery and Academy is teaming up with Artist Frank Frazier for another year of Art Basel Miami activities at the Center For Haitian Studies in Little Haiti, featuring original art for sale by Black Artists from across the nation.
Open daily from 12pm-7pm on Friday December 6 through Sunday December 8 with a closing reception Sunday afternoon at 3pm featuring some of the original Florida Highwaymen, a first generation of Black creative entrepreneurs.
FRIDAY 12/6 - HENNA PRE-GAME ART PARTY $25 (5:00-8:00 PM)
Chicago based and internationally renown visual artist and jewelry designer FANTA CELAH will bless attendees with her orantely designed henna tattoos. Come prepared to leave decorated in traditional body art while sampling hemp distilled vodka cocktails by Black owned distillery Highway Vodka, to the smooth sounds of afro beat music.
